And now that World Art Day is just around the corner in April, you’ll want to highlight your favorite work of art and display it in your home. World Art Day is a day to celebrate visual arts and a day to encourage you to unleash your creative side. So, what kind of art does your zodiac sign appreciate?
Aries – Pop art
Aries, you love all things bold, because you are bold. That’s why you love bright colors and bold contours, and that’s why you love pop art. Pop art was a movement from the 1950s that emerged in the United States and Great Britain. Pop art deconstructs popular culture images, such as those found in television, comic books, magazines and films. Therefore, you would appreciate pop art and would like it even more if part of it consists of the planet associated with your ruling planet, Mars. The brighter the red color, the better.
Taurus – Pottery
Taurus, you are sensual and you want to appreciate art to stimulate your senses, so three-dimensional art is ideal. On the other hand, Mercury makes you attracted to anything written, which is why you would like something visual that consists of written texts. So you probably have several collages in your home or office. You may even have the urge to create some.

Cancer, you are all about the home, because you are very proud of your home, because that is your life: home and family. That’s why the art you would appreciate is wall hangings. You would like to decorate your living room, kitchen, study or hallway with some beautiful wall hangings and photos of your family on the wall. Various media were presented, including paintings, writings, theater productions, films and photography. In other words, surrealism has a lot of shock value, and as a Scorpio you appreciate that.
Sagittarius – Art Deco
Sagittarius, you love abundance, and you love everything that you consider vibrant. Therefore, the art you appreciate is Art Deco, which emerged in France after World War I, and there are several reasons why this type of art would appeal to you. First of all, it’s decadent. You have vibrant colors to match this art, the geometry is strong and the detailed work of the art creates a luxurious feel. Art Deco is glamorous and creates a rich atmosphere. Capricorn – Realism
Capricorn, you are an earth sign that invests in reality, and you are goal-oriented. Based on these qualities, the type of art you find most appropriate would be realism. Artistic realism avoids speculative and supernatural elements and represents subjects without artificiality. The beauty of authenticity lies in seeing things as they are. According to realism, outward appearances are more important than imaginative idealizations. Gustave Courbet, Edward Hopper and Diego Rivera are examples of realism artists.
Aquarius – Futurism
Aquarius, you are progressive, and futuristic art is the best type for you. During the early 20th century, Italy and other countries were at the forefront of a movement known as Futurism. Objects such as cars, airplanes and industrial cities were emphasized, as well as dynamism, youth, technology and speed. You can find various futuristic art mediums such as paintings, indoor and outdoor designs, sculptures, textiles, graphic design and more. Examples of Futurist artists included Luigi Russolo, Umberto Boccioni and Giacomo Balla. You may even have Balla’s 1913 painting, Abstract Speed + Sound.
Pisces – abstract art
Pisces, you are known for being very imaginative and creative. Therefore, abstract art is the ideal art form that you would appreciate. The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity with abstract art because you can play with lines, colors and shapes, but there is nothing like reality that you can see in abstract art. Maybe you have paintings on your walls with shapes, textures, lines and colors. Examples of abstract artists were Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock and Piet Mondrian.
World Art Day is on April 15, the day to get in touch with your artistic side. You can visit an art gallery to admire different works of art from different artists. Or you can get in touch with your creative side and create some works of art. It doesn’t matter how good you are at painting, drawing or sculpting. If you have kids, you can get them in the mood because it’s a day about art. There’s no better day to do that.
