A mysterious object spotted along Gezon Parkway in West Michigan last Friday has left residents baffled.
Numerous people reported seeing the large, dark, triangular object hovering over the Byron Center-Wyoming area, attracting enough attention to become a popular topic on local social media.
To give evidence described the object as “large” and “strange” and hanging motionless in the air.
“It didn’t look like any drone or plane I’ve ever seen,” said Melissa Balinski, one of the many spectators. Some speculated that it could be a giant kite, although no confirmation has been given.
One resident, Aron Adamczyk, recalled observing the object with friends from The Pines Golf Course for 15 minutes, but no one could identify what they were witnessing.
Despite the large number of sightings, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office confirmed this week that it had received no formal reports of an unusual aerial object.
