If you ask anyone who the biggest stars in the world are right now, you’ll probably hear most people give the same answers: Taylor Swift And Beyonce.
One started in country and has become pop, and the other started in R&B and has recently become country; these two aren’t afraid to break the rules and create their own!
But what does this reflect in their astrology and share who they are behind the star power? Let’s dive in!
Beyoncé is a hardworking Virgo Sun and passionate Scorpio Moon
Beyonce was born with the Sun in practical, hardworking Virgo, and this is a sign of work and detail. Beyoncé probably wouldn’t enjoy life if she didn’t work so much all the time, and hey, it paid off!
Her Virgo Sun makes sense too, because she’s apparently more demure than her stage characters would make you think, and the Sun is your true self, the you that comes out when you’re comfortable and at ease, and Virgo is the quiet type.
Beyoncé’s Moon is in passionate, intense Scorpio, and the natural ruling planet for this sign is Pluto, the planet of transformation. Her Scorpio Moon is also conjunct her natal Uranus, the planet of change and the future.
This shows that Beyoncé is comfortable shaking up the status quo and going against the norm. She has an innate understanding of how to change the world for the better and knows her own power.

Taylor Swift was born with the sun in archer, sagittarius, a feisty fire sign and an adaptable mutable sign. Sagittarius is the sign of adventure and new experiences and is brave and courageous – quite fitting for someone who has made some bold moves in her career.
The natural ruling planet for Sagittarius is Jupiter, the planet of luck, so luck was always on Ms. Swift’s side.
Her Moon is probably in Cancer too, unless she was born very early in the day (before 3am, then she would be a Gemini Moon, but I think the Cancer Moon makes sense). In that case, her Moon is also conjunct, or aligned, with her Cancer Jupiter – lucky indeed!
This makes her an emotionally optimistic person and a natural caregiver. This conjunction also explains her close bond with her family, as Cancer rules the family.
Beyoncé and Taylor Swift both have Singleton Suns
A very interesting connection that these two queens have is that they have BOTH singleton sunbathing. What does that mean?
A planet is called a singleton if it is the only planet in an element, quality or house type. The zodiac signs are divided into four different elements: Fire, Earth, Air and Water, as well as three different qualities: Cardinal, Fixed and Mutable.
Beyoncé’s Virgo Sun is her only Earth sign planet, while Taylor Swift’s natal Sagittarius Sun is TWICE a singleton as both her only Fire sign and her Mutable sign planet. It’s no wonder these two have such a huge following!
Singleton Sun people have a strong sense of self, tend to be quite dynamic individuals and stand out. They weren’t meant to fade into the shadows, and neither were Beyoncé and Taylor.
Beyoncé has strong connections, but they can be a crutch
Beyoncé has Venus at home in Libra, and it forms a favorable sextile for Mars in Leo, meaning her Venus and Mars work well together. This provides more convenience when forming and maintaining connections.
However, her Venus is extra strong because it is part of a Libra stelliumwith her natal Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all in Libra. A stellium is created when three or more planets are together in one constellation, which is concentrated energy.
In Libra, it shows that her relationships, alliances and partnerships are greatly to her advantage. It is not surprising that she first became a star in the group Destiny’s Child.
Beyoncé, both in Destiny’s Child and on her own, has also encouraged strong feminine energy, almost goddess-like, which is very Libra.
But her North Node is in Cancer, and all that Libra is square in her nodes. The North Node is part of the Lunar Nodes, the points in the Moon’s orbit where the Moon crosses the ecliptic. The North Node represents our potential, our purpose and what we need to grow into, although it is unknown and uncomfortable, so when we are young we tend to shy away from it.
Squares are challenging aspects, placing the bodies three zodiac signs apart, and squares to the Nodes are blocks to your potential and purpose. Beyoncé may rely too much on her connections, especially when she is insecure, confused, or emotional.
Her Cancer North Node wants her to be more emotionally self-nurturing and self-sufficient. However, her Libra energy may push her to achieve that externally, when she should be looking for it internally.
Her nodes are also a bit challenged because they are located on the anaretic rank. There are thirty degrees in each zodiac sign, and 29 degrees is the last degree, called the anaretic degree. In the birth chart, bodies on the anaretic level tend to be overplayed or ignored.
If she uses this Cancer and Libra energy correctly, she is likely to be the one to provide emotional support to others, and to make sure everyone is taken care of.

Taylor Swift is meant to focus on relationships, but also on trials
Taylor Swift’s natal Venus is in Aquarius, the sign of friendships, so it’s no surprise that she pays so much attention to her group of friends with the planet of relationships in this sign. Her Venus falls in her natal North Node.
Remember that the North Node represents our potential, our purpose and what we need to grow into. Although it is unfamiliar and uncomfortable, we tend to shy away from it when we are young.
Taylor has written so many songs about her romantic relationships – well, Venus on the North Node wants that! She is supposed to focus on her connections.
Not only that, but her Venus is a singleton as her only Air sign planet, so her Venus is extra strong as well. Her relationships nourish and fuel her, and this is a good thing.
But she also has Mars in Scorpio, which squares her Venus and Mars. Her Mars is also strong because it is conjunct her natal Pluto, the natural ruler of Scorpio.

Transiting, or moving, Pluto in Aquarius was conjunct Taylor’s natal Venus in Aquarius, and will remain so in 2025. It’s no surprise that she has had a high-profile relationship with football star Travis Kelce!
This was a departure for her from her last relationship, which lasted but was largely kept out of the public eye. Transit Pluto came along and changed that with her next big relationship with Kelce.
It’s definitely serious, as Pluto is NOT superficial, and it’s probably feeding her Scorpio Mars and Pluto energy. Hopefully she balances that out in this regard.
However, transit Uranus is at odds with her natal Mars, so she may experience a shift in perspective and outlook and have a more serious attitude than usual.
These two were meant to connect on the big stage
When one person’s Jupiter aligns with another person’s planet, there is usually genuine affection for each other. When one person’s planets are in the same sign as another person’s North Node, they are usually meant to connect in some way.
Taylor’s Jupiter and Moon in Cancer join Beyoncé’s North Node in Cancer. These two seem to really like each other and were meant to be in each other’s orbit.
They are both singleton Suns, so they also understand each other’s bright light; they both have water sign moons, so their emotional selves are similar; they both have a stellium, so they’re both laser-focused; and their relationships are huge factors in their lives, although they have slightly different lessons for each of them.
