Tarot can be a wonderful tool for so many situations, challenges, questions and reflections. Offering guidance, consciousness, new insights and powerful truths, the cards have a way to cut the nonsense and to help us see things a bit clearer, from different corners and new perspectives.
Although it is sometimes useful to have a specific tarot spread for a specific problem, and although detailed layouts can enable us to dig into a question or challenge in an unexpected way, you can usually not find a spread that is perfectly tailored to your exact question.
Whether you read about a relationship, chance, decision, obstacle, possibility or limit, most situations are more complicated than a spread will probably refer. Fortunately, Tarot does not require extensive spreads to still give us the kind of clarity or direction that we are so often looking for. And in these cases, a lake Overall distribution Can often function for us in a way that is incredibly useful.

The benefits of a general tarot spread
General spreads are practical and powerful, so you Universal guidance That you can apply for everything that is your question or care. You can certainly adjust the formulation in this spread to be more specific or more personal if you want, but I think that general spreads usually do not require this.
Simply concentrate on your situation, slide and draw cards as you usually do, and see what your deck has to offer.
If you have read tarot for yourself for a long time, you have probably already used general spreads before, in particular strongly recommended Spreads with three cards.
Beloved layouts like Past / present / future or Body / mind / mind Can be great for questions, reflections or problem solving, while spreads like Situation / obstacle / advice or Stop / Start / Go on Can offer practical advice and insightful suggestions for what they should do next. But if you want a little more more detailed or extensive, this distribution can help.

Limits and limits that we create for ourselves are often there to protect ourselves – and although we can sometimes grow by pushing or changing against them, other times that they serve us well as they are. To help you understand how you can use this spread, I did a simple example lecture.
Note: This is very general, and although you may find some wisdom or insights that feel personally for you, this spread is in no way intended to read a community and is not drawn with a certain question, situation or person in mind.

Card one: a truth to explore
Ace of Water / Aas van Bekers
A card with go -ahead emotion, a desire for a connection and a new intuitive journey, the more traditionally well -known bait of cups often comes to the fore when we open our hearts for something magical, insightful and community -oriented. There is a deep joy here, a feeling of trust and belief in the self.
In this position of the truth to explore, the bait of cups indicates that we can put a lot of stock in our own feelings.
Things to think about:
- What do we want?
- How do we move in a direction that we long for, what we crave at?
Our deepest wishes and most powerful ambitions often come from the heart, so with this first card we are invited to let our emotions take space, to rely on our intuition to lead us ahead.
Consider – How can we explore our own depths more fully? What truth have we hid for ourselves?
Map two: a risk to consider
The devil
Usually associated with destructive behavior, negative patterns or a large spiritual lesson, the devil is an archetype of obstacles and challenges, things that distract us from our larger goals.
But in this position of risk, the cards seem to invite us to pay attention to what stimulates our choices, and urge us to be honest about what we really want and what we actually chase. Have we taken risks with our ambitions? Have we been afraid of losing something and making decisions based on that fear?
Risk is not always a bad thing, and sometimes we intentionally have to release control of a challenging situation instead of manipulating the results.
Consider – where do we get our strength? How can surrender to help us clarify what we want to pursue?
Map three: An insight to acknowledge
Knight of Air / Knight of Swords
The first of three Court cards In this lecture, the knight of air, or traditionally known as the Knight of Swords, is associated with intellectual adventure, determination and intense focus.
Knights Always invite us to consider how we balance a certain element, and this scout of air often sees the world in black -white, believing that their perspective or solution for a problem is the best possible choice. But it is easy to turn on blinds if we want to achieve a certain milestone, easy to get caught up on one path ahead and to lose sight of other options.
And in this position the Knight of Swords invites us to be honest about ourselves about what we do and about who or what we might ignore.
Consider – how can we broaden our position, listen to other voices, make room for other potential truths?

Card four: A fear of honoring
Knight of Fire / Knight of Wands
Often seen as fearless, ambitious and wild creative, the knight of magic wagging is charismatic, daring and willing to take risks to realize large dreams. But just like De Ridder van Air, this is a figure that encourages us to remember balance, so as not to get entangled in our unique point of view or experience that we block everything else.
In particular, the knight of fire we see someone who might be great in starting projects, but does not always know how to endure them to the finish.
In this position of fear, the cards ask us to honor our worries that we cannot complete this project and challenge ourselves to make a real plan for the future instead of coming up with things while we continue.
Consider – How can we set up ourselves for success? Which details or ideas should we clarify?
Card five: the next step forwards
Page of the Earth / Page of Pentakels
A child of curiosity and usability, the page of pentacles is eager to start a new company, but intelligent enough to know that they first have to assess and collect resources. A perfect solution for the challenges that have been increased in the first four cards, this student of the earth regards many options, investigates and assembles information before he makes obligations.
Instead of hurrying in something blindly, getting caught in desire, or loading forward without a clear idea of where we are going, this card encourages us to be patient and deliberate, to rely on the process and to prioritize long -term vision over short -term satisfaction.
Consider – how can we begin to plant seeds for our future? What do we need to be successful?
Slide your cards for clearer insight
So many of the maps in this lecture touch on themes of control, surrender and power, which indicates that there is a chance to clarify desires, to evaluate where we are on our journey and prioritize the dreams that matter the most.
And with three court cards in this lecture it is possible that there are people in our lives who would like to help us, as well as aspects of ourselves that we should investigate more fully. How can hearing different perspectives help us to be sure what we believe? Where are we invited to grow?
This spread can offer a sense of empowerment, giving you clear insights into where you are and guidance about where you want to go. What your Favorite general spreads?
