Founded with the mission to advance academic discourse on the methodology, epistemology, and philosophy related to unidentified aerospace (or anomalous) phenomena, the Society for UAP Studies is composed of humanists, social and physical scientists, academics, and professionals.
The Society is committed to applying rigorous scientific principles and methodologies to the study of UAP, contributing to a better understanding of these phenomena and their implications for humanity.
The Society for UAP Studies announces an upcoming online conference entitled “Varieties and Trajectories of Contemporary UAP Studies.”
This event will take place from August 16 to 18 and will present and discuss the results of ongoing research projects in the field of UAP.
The study of UAPs is evolving. No longer considered suspicious activities of independent researchers confined to the realm of speculation, in recent years a growing number of scholars from the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences have turned their attention to this topic, leading to a wave of serious academic studies. enquiry.
This new wave of interest is fueled by the desire to understand the implications of the reported incidents and their impact on various disciplines.
“The ‘Varieties and Trajectories of Contemporary UAP Studies’ conference represents an important convergence of minds interested in the study of UAPs,” said Dr. Mike Cifone, president of the Society for UAP Studies.
“We are bringing together experts from different fields to share insights and promote dialogue on this enigmatic topic.”
The conference will include plenary sessions across a wide range of disciplines. The speakers represent an international coalition of scientists and practitioners who study the phenomenon from their specific research areas.
The plenary lectures will range from anthropological, philosophical, and religious studies perspectives on UAP, to current work being done by natural scientists and engineers involved in establishing rigorous observation protocols and techniques for capturing the physical signatures of UAP.
This virtual meeting is expected to attract scholars, scientists, technologists and enthusiasts from all over the world and provide a collaborative platform for sharing knowledge and promoting innovation in the field of UAP studies.
