Dr. Michelle Thaller, NASA scientist, is absolutely certain that extraterrestrial life exists, and not only beyond it, but also in our own solar system.
She say that “possible signs of life” have already been observed in the carbon dioxide-filled atmosphere, adding that she was absolutely certain that life exists somewhere.
She explained: “We are seeing possible signs of life in the atmosphere of Venus. I never expected Venus. On Venus, we are now seeing something in the atmosphere that looks very much like it can be produced by bacteria.”
Although Venus appears drastically different from our own beautiful planet, it is actually described as “Earth’s twin” because it has a similar size and structure.
Astronomers believe that it is completely impossible for humans to exist on Venus.
Located ONLY 67 million miles from the sun, Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system, where temperatures can reach 475 degrees Celsius.
Despite this, scientists have often debated whether microbial life forms could live in the clouds of Venus and survive on sulfur, methane and iron.
We need to send more missions to Venus to study the surface and clouds in more detail. We also need to look for other biosignatures, such as methane or oxygen, that may indicate biological activity.
