In the quiet community of Green River, Wyoming, a curious sight in the night sky has captured the attention of UFO enthusiasts and skeptics alike.
Richard Beckwith, Rock Springs city attorney and state director of the Mutual UFO Network, recently filmed a mysterious orange light dancing back and forth through the darkness before disappearing completely.
The footage, captured early Sunday morning with a camera with a 400mm zoom lens securely mounted on a tripod, shows a bright orange illumination oscillating in the sky for as long as 40 minutes.
Beckwith, a veteran UFO researcher, quickly dismissed any suggestion of camera shake, noting that the object’s movement was too rhythmic and deliberate.
“I captured this object east of Green River this morning, March 10, 2024, at 3:40 AM for over 40 minutes on a Sony AVIIR4 on a tripod with a 100–400 Tamaron zoom lens. The movement of the object is not due to camera shake. The object actually oscillates steadily back and forth. About 30 seconds into the 30-minute clip, It ejects another object: a small, white light. These objects appeared over Scott’s Bottom Road and were seen by at least five other witnesses in various locations,” Beckwith said.
As he observed the steady rhythm of the anomaly, Beckwith was faced with more questions than answers. The appearance of a secondary white light in the images only added to the mystery.
While some may be quick to declare alien involvement, Beckwith urges caution and reminds us that without further investigation it simply remains an unidentified flying object – nothing more, nothing less.
Beckwith’s plan involves a thorough investigation, including checking with local authorities and mathematical triangulation to determine the location of the lighting at the time of filming.
