What started as a routine babysitting job, turned into a real nightmare when an intruder from Kansas discovered an intruder who hid under the bed of a child after the young person insisted that a “monster” lurked among them.
The frightening incident unfolded himself in Great Bend on 24 March, Kansas, when the babysitter tried to reassure a scared child that there was no monster-all to face the 27-year-old Martin Villalobos Jr., who reportedly hit her before she fled the stage.
By a police rackThe child had complained about a ‘monster’ under the bed, so that the babysitter was asked to check.
“When the victim tried to show the child that there was nothing under the bed, she came face to face with a male suspect hiding there,” the authorities said. A battle followed, in which a child was turned before Villalobos escaped.
Delegates later learned that Villalobos had previously lived in the home, but no longer returned due to an order for protective abuse. Judicial data reveals that he was released only 10 days earlier on bail after accusations of criminal threat, domestic battery and the violation of a protective order.
After an overnight stay, Villalobos was arrested and is now confronted with several crimes, including worsened burglary, worsened battery, children’s threat and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He stays in the prison of Barton County on a bond of $ 500,000.
In the meantime, the Australian football player Sam Kerr’s headlines in Sydney gained a different reason spot with wearing a daring slogan-t-shirt-but the real shocker remains the Kansas case, which reads like a scene from a horror film.
“This is the worst nightmare of every parent,” said the local resident Diane Carter. “You say that your children are not really monsters, but then something like that happens.”
Authorities urge residents to report suspicious activities and to guarantee the security of home, especially in cases with protective orders. Regarding the shaken babysitter and child? They are safe – but probably look under the bed twice from now on.
