Over the past two weeks, social media has been abuzz with videos (see below) of mysterious flashing lights captured over Indiana, reports www.coasttocoastam.com.
Several locals posted their images online, hoping for answers. Speculations ranged from military exercises to flares and even alien activity.
The first widely reported sighting occurred on October 7, when hundreds of people witnessed a series of pulsating lights floating through the sky near Kokomo, Indiana, before disappearing.
Discussions on Reddit quickly pointed to the nearby Grissom Air Reserve Base as a possible explanation, with some suggesting the lights were flares. However, not everyone found this convincing.
One user disputed the flare theory, posting: “Anyone saying these are flares – if you can give me tangible proof that flares seem to teleport to the side like this during training exercises, I’m all ears… Until then I don’t care what your pilot uncle says.’
Just days later, more videos emerged from the same region, this time showing three distant lights floating and changing shape and color. No explanation has yet been received from the authorities.
