According to Nick Pope, King Charles has a direct line to individuals with in-depth knowledge of the UFO phenomenon, potentially positioning him as a catalyst for UFO investigations in Britain.
The British Royal Family’s interest in UFOs is not a new phenomenon; The late Duke of Edinburgh, father of the current King, was very intrigued by this subject and amassed an extensive collection of documents and material relating to UFOs.
Nick Pope, former head of the Ministry of Defense’s UFO research division, suggests that a single phone call from King Charles could potentially unlock the mystery surrounding UFOs in Britain.
Such a move could boost UFO investigations in Britain, which would mirror recent developments in the US, such as the Congressional hearing earlier this year.
If the King prefers not to be directly involved, he has the option to encourage MPs to raise the subject. Pope expressed his views during an interview for an upcoming UFO documentary entitled “The King of UFOs,” which will be released in November.
Pope emphasized: “Someone has to take the first step, and yes, it is an important and courageous step. You wouldn’t want to be the politician associated with flying saucers if the story takes that turn. However, politicians can be smart, especially if there is potential royal support, to frame their interests around a commitment to transparent governance or concerns about defense and aviation security.
He noted that this approach is consistent with the way American politicians deal with the UFO topic, and that there is a valid and logical interest in adhering to it, especially when pilots and radar operators come forward with their stories. Flight safety is a priority.
It remains uncertain whether King Charles actually wants to investigate this subject and how much interest he has in it.
