Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell has warned about an alleged government hoax: a claim that an alien craft will approach Earth in 2027.
Corbell, seen in UFO Revolution: S2E3, describes this as “the lie you’re about to be told,” raising pressing questions about why such a story might be introduced.
For decades the US government has denied the existence of UFOs, but in recent years it has recognized their reality. Corbell suggests that this shift is intentional, stating, “Sometimes when you want someone to know the truth, it’s so you can make him or her believe a lie.”
He links the 2027 timeline to rumors from secret documents dating back to the 1970s, suggesting a decades-long strategy to prepare for this moment.
According to Corbell, the lie would likely be perceived as a threat, which would justify greater militarization and control.
“If the government announces that a spacecraft is heading to Earth, who would doubt it?” Corbell warns. This narrative could reshape global priorities, from defense budgets to civil liberties, under the guise of survival.
Corbell also points to the year 2027 as a focus of speculation, a date referenced by other UFO insiders such as Luis Elizondo.
While no concrete evidence has emerged, Corbell is urging the public to remain vigilant. “Pay attention,” he advises, warning that the story – and its timeline – may change in response to scrutiny.
What is at stake is trust in institutions and the potential manipulation of public perception. Corbell acknowledges the risks of speaking out: “I’m called crazy. That’s okay.” Still, his warning is consistent with historical patterns of secrecy in UFO investigations.
