88 Portal activation
The Lion’s Gate is open from July 28 to August 12, peaking on the 8th day of the 8th month. During the 88 portal, the star Sirius moves super close to Earth and aligns with Orion. We can expect energetic streams of light codes to flow into the Earth and we are able to use these codes to bring healing and heightened consciousness through these activations.
In numerology, the 8th day of the 8th month is a very spiritual and activated time. The Lion’s Gate is a time of heightened cosmic energy flowing between the physical and spiritual realms that we can all attune to and connect with. The number 8 corresponds to the symbol and meaning of Infinity. It represents the ‘Eternal Consciousness’ part of our soul, where birth and death are linked in a cosmic flow of everlasting unity. The number 8 and the star Sirius are both associated with DNA activation, abundance, power, freedom and a super high plane of consciousness, making the Lions Gateway a powerful time to clear, activate and open our energy to reception.
Lions Gate isn’t just about numerology. This alignment is called the Lion’s Gate because it occurs when the Sun is in the astrological sign of Leo (the Lion). As a zodiac sign, Leo is associated with the heart center and represents the individualized expression of the divine. This Leo energy is the supreme phase to anchor the ascension codes of higher consciousness emitted by the star Sirius, one of the brightest stars in the sky and known as our spiritual sun. As Sirius rises in the sky, Orion’s belt aligns directly with the Pyramid of Giza, and from our perspective on Earth, it appears that Sirius (the brightest star we can observe) is moving closer to Earth. The star Sirius is twice as big as our sun and 26 times brighter! It is a true source of spiritual light from the inner realms. The ancients were very intuitive with the star Sirius. They believed it was a gateway to heaven and the central station for higher vibrational beings. They understood that the energy of this star contained highly advanced wisdom that could be intercepted when Sirius was strong in the sky.
Sirius rising into the sky at this time of year was considered a sacred event and marked the beginning of the new year in many cultures. The ancients saw many things happen to Mother Earth during this event.
In ancient Egypt, the rising of this star coincided with the flooding of the Nile and was seen as a gift of prosperity and fertility, and revered as a positive omen. They have aligned their pyramids with this rising star and some theories indicate that the pyramids act as transmitters that amplify the energy of Sirius to channel and download messages with greater consistency.
The great Sphinx with its lion qualities also ties in with the Leo Zodiac during this cosmic time of year. This spiritual sequence is believed to benefit the reception of divine messages from Isis and Anubis, the Egyptian gods associated with Sirius.
The Egyptians were not the only ancients to worship Sirius; the Mayans, Sumerians, Babylonians and the Dogon tribe also had a strong connection with this bright blue star.
