Suzanne Somers, the beloved actress who starred in Three’s Company and Step by Step, passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. She was 74 years old and left behind a legacy of laughter and love.
But her husband of almost 50 years, Alan Hamel, believes she is not really gone. He even claims that she visited him from the “other side” through a series of eerie events that occurred in their home after her death.
Hamel shared his wonderful experience in an interview on the website Page sixin which he recalled how three particularly remarkable moments unfolded over the course of one day.
The strangeness started, he said, when a hummingbird managed to enter their home and flew around the property until it finally landed on a photo of him and his wife. “It was like she was saying, ‘I’m here, I’m here,’” he said.
But that was just the beginning of what he later concluded: a message from his late wife. According to Hamel, the fireplace in their home then suddenly “lit on its own,” followed by an even stranger turn of events when “music by Suzanne’s favorite composer started playing.”
The trio of remarkable moments understandably had a profound effect on him, as he declared: “I now believe there is life after death. I am convinced.” He further theorized that although “we throw away our bodies” at the moment of death, “the soul has to go somewhere and do something.”
Hamel’s story is not unique. Many people who have lost their loved ones report having signs or synchronicities that make them feel connected to them beyond the physical realm.
Some believe these are messages from the spirit world, while others see them as coincidences or wishful thinking.
