There is a lot of concern that children are not active enough and are indoors all the time because they spend too much time on screens and don’t get enough exercise. Before technology, children played outside much more because there were no smartphones or tablets other than a television.
There is a day dedicated to outdoor play: National Outdoor Play Day, on the first Saturday of December and this year it is December 3. The aim of the day is to help children appreciate the beauty of nature and become active outside again, as children used to do. Let’s talk about how you liked to play outside based on your zodiac sign.
Aries – Played every sport
Aries, you are the one who is full of fire and competitive. You are energetic and your ruler, Mars, influences you. Therefore, practicing any sport was the best outdoor activity for you. Whatever sport makes you bounce or run around, whether it’s basketball, football or even tennis.
However, exercising keeps you physically stimulated when you need it, otherwise you become too restless and irritable. Moreover, the fresh air of being outside is good for your psyche. If you played outside like that in your youth, then your zodiac sign is the reason.
Taurus – Flew kites
Taurus, you are stable, stoic and not energetic. You may be quite sedentary and were so as a child, but you always have an affinity for the outdoors since you are an Earth sign. That’s why your outdoor activity was kite flying.

Many outdoor activities were not listed; you should know more about it before National Outdoor Play Day. Since it’s December 3, when it can be quite cold in the north of the world, you and your kids (if you have them) need to bundle up. Even if you don’t have children, play outside and enjoy it.
