The theory of karma and rebirth is often seen as the cultural heritage of Buddhism, arising from Indian beliefs that, due to the Buddha’s lack of precision or deviations from his early followers, became entangled in the dharma despite not being fits seamlessly with the core teachings. Now that the dharma has made its way to the West, we believe it is time to ignore this unnecessary baggage and not leave it on the carousel.
