A viral video clip has sparked intrigue online, depicting an apparently ghostly figure captured on a CCTV camera. However, the creepy figure is invisible when viewed directly.
According to the caption of the video on Instagram, the footage was taken by a bus conductor during routine post-shift checks. While checking the CCTV footage, he saw that there was still a passenger on the bus, despite it being supposedly empty.
Confused, the conductor pointed his phone camera at the seat in question, only to find it completely empty. But when he looked at the CCTV monitor again, the mystery passenger – a man in a white shirt – was still visible, sitting alone in the otherwise deserted bus.
This has led to a puzzling inconsistency: if the apparition only appears on camera, why didn’t it also appear on the conductor’s phone camera?
The origins of the images remain unclear, but they have quickly gained traction on Instagram and have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times. The question remains: is this really evidence of a ghost on board?
The most plausible explanation is that the CCTV monitor showed a recording from an earlier time when someone was indeed sitting in that seat. It could be a technical problem, or maybe the whole scenario was staged as a joke.
