Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida was a central figure in the recent UFO hearings, where three whistleblowers alleged that the US government knows much more than it is admitting when it comes to unidentified aerial phenomena, now called UAPs.
“It appears, and from what I say, based on the pushback, that they are hiding something,” Rep. Luna shared. FOX 13.
According to her, this secrecy is extremely problematic.
“If these are programs that are created without congressional oversight and are responsible for the loss of billions of dollars, that could go to other things. I think that is absolutely relevant,” she said.
One of the extraordinary claims made during Thursday’s hearing was that “non-human biological agents” were recovered from a crashed plane.
While Rep. Luna says she hasn’t seen a UAP herself, she says she’s seen other evidence ripped straight out of a science fiction movie.
“Based on the evidence I have personally seen, the existing technology is something that I don’t think any government currently has,” said Rep. Luna. “While I was at Eglin Air Force Base, I saw a photo and also talked to the pilots about something that was absolutely not of our Department of Defense’s making,” she added.
She says she’s working to release that photo and more.
“It’s a major national security issue, but it’s also a matter of government transparency,” she said.
