This video was filmed in May 2023, but was only recently sent to the ufological organization MUFON (an international organization that investigates UFO reports from all over the world and not just the United States).
The author of the video (see below), in addition to the video itself, described in detail the circumstances under which he filmed this incident.
“On May 4, 2023, I was aboard an American Airlines flight departing from Charlotte, NC en route to Los Angeles, CA. At approximately 5:25 PM MDT I saw 6-7 disc-shaped glowing objects outside my cabin window traveling west, close to our aircraft.
“The objects initially appeared in 3 rows, stacked 2 per row. The top and bottom rows trailed slightly behind the middle row, as the objects traveled past our plane they slowly formed a stagnant straight line.
“Our aircraft was flying over New Mexico State near Taos at an airspeed of approximately 490 mph and just over 30,000 feet above sea level. These objects kept pace with our aircraft during the observation and did not appear to rise or fall at any point.
“When I first noticed the objects, the lights coming out of them were a bright yellowish-orange color with a flame-like appearance. The light source coming from the objects seemed to pulse at regular intervals, as the light source dimmed occasionally I could make out a reflective silver rim on 2 of the objects.
“The edge ended in a point at both ends of each object, they appeared to be disc-shaped or cylindrical in nature. After checking them out with my naked eye, I started filming them at about 5:26 PM MDT with my phone, which records in 4K quality.
“The objects appeared to have a yellowish-white glow when viewed through the camera on my phone, as opposed to the yellowish-orange color when viewed with the naked eye. After recording the objects for 1 minute and 22 seconds, I stopped recording and started taking pictures.
“The objects started to shift as I took the photos and eventually they formed a stationary straight line with the two objects in the top row shifting forward and the bottom two objects moving to the back position.
“These six objects would eventually enter a large cloud bank in which the objects’ light source was visible through the clouds. As they left the cloud bank one by one and were still traveling west, they blinked and disappeared right in front of me. I did not see the objects rise or fall after the lights were turned off.”
