We start this week with powerful, charged and intense energy! And on Friday, November 1, the New Moon will occur in Scorpio. New Moons are always the best time to undertake new endeavors. They are all about new beginnings and the powerful psychic process of planting seeds for things you want to introduce into your life.
Each moon phase has a specific signature, and this too is about renewal and starting over. If you’re feeling stuck or stagnant somewhere in your life, this would be the perfect opportunity to create a ritual around setting intentions for the new habits and pursuits you want to invoke in your being.
The fact that the New Moon is happening Scorpio means that these new beginnings and energies will be connected to the inner/emotional realms. Scorpio New Moons are about going within and exploring your inner depths. Delving into the aspects of your psyche that most likely go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of your everyday life.
It is critical that we all do this process, which is often called shadow work.
This includes pursuing habits like therapy, meditation, journaling, and rituals – basically all the different things that invite you to go within, sit with yourself, be honest and real with yourself, and ultimately analyze /and to understand what is seeping into your inner self. you and what motivates your behavior in general.
An unexamined life (psyche) can be quite dangerous, because if you simply operate from your unconscious mind, you don’t really have control over yourself and your actions. You enter a kind of autopilot mode where most of your ways of being and showing up are influenced by past wounds/traumas. It is clear that these practices and this type of work are not easy at all and not for the faint of heart. It requires you to feel emotions and process experiences that are very difficult and painful.
But only by doing this work will you free yourself from their hold on you.
Unfortunately, we do not live in a world that encourages or gives us the space to continue the journey of shadow work. We are encouraged to sweep things under the table, to continually seek various forms of escapism, whether it be through social media, sex, substances, or any form of instant gratification that satisfies our need to avoid dealing with uncomfortable feelings and thoughts. remain in place, quickly extinguishes.
What this Scorpio New Moon asks of you is to actively counter these tendencies. Slow down, be still, be quiet, be alone, be inner and become curious about your very rich and powerful inner world, which carries with it so much power and strength if you use it deliberately and correctly. Have the courage to face your inner demons head-on and witness the transformative effect on you, your life and even those around you.
Keep in mind that this work takes time and is an endless process. There is no end to it; it is infinite and everlasting. Therefore, be patient and gentle with yourself as you accept it.
