Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, is known for his enthusiasm for space exploration. However, when it comes to the existence of extraterrestrial life and UFOs, Musk is skeptical.
In a recent one interview Along with Tucker Carlson, Musk stated that he doubts anyone has encountered aliens. He believes that many of the UFO sightings reported by individuals may actually be advanced secret U.S. government military technology.
Musk suggested that some of these advanced systems – such as new planes and missiles – are so secret that even the military may not be fully aware of them, as highlighted by the New York Post.
“Well, unidentified flying objects are one thing, but there are always some secret programs going on,” Musk said.
Carlson expressed concern, noting that the military has reported instances of having to navigate around unidentified objects. Musk acknowledged that while there are indeed unidentified flying objects, many of them are likely related to secret projects.
He said SpaceX operates more than 6,000 Starlink satellites and has never had to change course because of an alien spacecraft.
“There is a lot we don’t know. Where did we come from? Where are the aliens?”
Although Musk hasn’t encountered any evidence of aliens, he remains open to the possibility of their existence. Musk assured Carlson that if he ever found credible evidence of aliens, he would immediately make it public and promised it would be a major announcement on his platform, X.
“As soon as I see any evidence of aliens, I will immediately post it to the X platform,” Musk said. “It will probably be our number one post of all time.”
Musk has long argued that if the government had evidence of aliens, it would likely use that information to justify increased military funding.
The Pentagon and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence have been investigating UFO sightings, which often turn out to be drones, balloons or space debris — a situation that some critics say is exacerbated by the Starlink network.
Some reported sightings showed unusual movement patterns, but none have been convincingly linked to extraterrestrial origins. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), chair of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities, said Congress is due for an update on the Pentagon’s investigation into these sightings, describing the findings as a priority.
