The mysteries of our universe persist, raising questions about the feasibility of teleportation, the influence of higher intelligences and the potential friendliness of artificial intelligence, according to cosmologist and author of ‘Unreal Reality’, Andrey Kananin. discussed with a Russian news channel.
“Andrey Vladimirovich, rumors are circulating that our universe is a virtual construction, in which a lot of information has been deliberately hidden. Could this be to preserve our mental well-being or to facilitate societal control? the interviewer asked.
“I find it difficult to entertain Earth-centric conspiracy theories; my confidence lies in scientific principles and our understanding of fundamental laws of nature,” Kananin replied.
“Yet the ‘zoo theory’ posits that an advanced alien intelligence is monitoring us and preventing contact with other civilizations because of our relative underdevelopment. Despite our attempts to communicate, we seem blocked.”
“Many scientists argue that advanced civilizations would uphold ethical principles and potentially intervene in global crises,” Kananin continued. “However, if we live in a simulated reality, it can be turned off at will.”
“Is it conceivable to teleport not only elementary particles, but entire physical bodies at enormous speeds through space and time?” the interviewer pondered.
“Quantum mechanics reveals special properties: particles exhibit behavior that depends on observation,” Kananin explains. “Entanglement allows instantaneous interaction over large distances without transmitting information, thus circumventing Einstein’s laws. Although teleportation may seem paradoxical, scientists are exploring ways within these limits.”
“Teleporting macroscopic objects, such as people, remains a huge challenge,” Kananin admits. “Yet, historical precedent demonstrates humanity’s ability to innovate despite challenges. With exponential progress and the help of ethical algorithms, artificial intelligence can facilitate our efforts.”
In the realm of uncertainty, the search for answers continues, driven by human curiosity and the promise of scientific discovery.
