A father from Sheffield, England, had a chilling response when he watched his baby monitor footage and saw a mysterious arm reaching into his son’s crib, reports coasttocoastam.com.
William Grave had set up the baby monitor for the first time last Tuesday, when his nine-month-old son Xander was sleeping in his own room for the first time.
The next morning he decided to watch the recording to see how his son had slept. To his shock and disbelief, he saw a creepy scene that looked like something out of a horror movie.
Around 6:50 a.m., a ghostly arm appeared on the screen and seemed to reach into the crib, as if to pick up Xander’s doll. The arm was pale and thin and had no visible jewelry or clothing. It stayed there for a few seconds and then disappeared. Xander didn’t seem to notice or respond to the strange visitor.
Grave was stunned by the images and tried to find a rational explanation. He asked his wife if she had entered the room at that time, but she denied it. She also pointed out that the arm did not have her Pandora bracelet, which she always wears.
Grave then wondered if it could have been his mother, who had died around the time Xander was born. He said: “It would be nice to think it was my mother, but I don’t know who it is. I just know it’s not me or my wife.”
He shared the video online and asked for other people’s opinions. Some suggested it could be a reflection, a shadow, or a glitch in the camera.
Others said it could have been a ghost or an angel watching over Xander. Some even joked that it could have been a friendly ghost like Casper.
