If you’re looking for a good scare, you might want to watch this video (below) that has gone viral on TikTok.
It shows a security guard at a technology plaza in Monterrey, Mexico, who hears a child crying in the middle of the night but finds no one there, reports coasttocoastam.com.
The video was posted by the TikTok user, who claims to be the security guard who filmed the incident. He says he was doing his rounds in the Plaza de la Tecnología, which is closed at night, when he heard some noises and decided to investigate.
He walked around the building calling out to anyone who might be there, but got no answer.
As he reached the end of a hallway, he heard the loud and clear sound of a child sobbing. He pointed his flashlight in the direction of the sound, but saw nothing.
He says he felt a chill run down his spine and quickly said “goodnight” before ending the video.
The clip has been viewed more than two million times on TikTok and has sparked much discussion among viewers.
Some believe the guard may have heard the voice of a ghost child, who may have died or suffered in the building. Others suggest it could be a prank or hoax, using a loudspeaker or recording to fool the guard.
