Wouldn’t you like to know your fate? Well, numerology can help you decipher it! Since the beginning of humanity’s reign on this earth, we have been baffled by the idea of fate and fate, and while there is no clear-cut answer to whether any of these things are real, there is also no proof that this is not the case. In numerology, one of the fundamental numbers of your horoscope is your destiny number, which gives you insight into what the sphere of your middle life from 30 to 50 years will be like. So let’s find out more about our Destiny numbers and find out what the future holds!
Step 1: Your full name
There is some debate here among numerologists about what a full name is. Some say you should use your legal name, but I think only you can really know what your real name is.
For example, if you use a nickname exclusively, to the point that no one does ever calls you by your legal name, it would probably make more sense to use that name instead. And if you’ve adopted a new name but have yet to go through the process of legally changing it (because it’s a hassle, let’s face it), then there’s no need to use an old or dead name.
The bottom line is that if your legal name is not your real name, you should not use it!
If you have adopted your partner’s last name, you will also want to use your new last name instead of your original name. I suggest going through this step-by-step process twice to calculate your destiny number for both your current and original names, to compare and contrast how your future has changed. This process can also be used as a good decision factor if you are unsure whether or not you should change your name.
Step 2: Find your numbers
Each letter in the alphabet has a corresponding number. So this next step is about converting your full name into a series of numbers.
The alphanumeric system is a basic pattern of numbers 1-9 consecutively. This means that A is 1, B is 2, C is 3, D is 4, E is 5, F is 6, G is 7, H is 8 and I is 9. Then the pattern starts again with J as 1. Check See the chart below for the full list of letters and the numbers assigned to them.
Step 3: Addition
Now that you have all the numbers associated with the letters of your full name, it’s time to do some basic addition. I suggest breaking it down into several equations based on how many names you have. For example, if you have a first and last name, it will be split into three different equations.
For example, the name Anna Nicole Smith in numbers is 1551 593635 14928. Now just put some + signs between the numbers and start adding! According to our example: 1+5+5+1=12, 5+9+3+6+3+5=31 and 1+4+9+2+8=24.
You should have an amount for each name. From our example we have 12, 31 and 24.
Step 4: Add Down
In numerology we have a process called ‘addition’, where you add the numbers within a 2 or sometimes 3 digit number to get one digit. Single digit numbers are called in numerology basic numbers.
There is an important rule when it comes to repeating numbers like 11, 22 and 33. These are called master numbers and each time your calculator adds one of these, stop the addition process and leave the main number unchanged.
Now let’s go back to our example. Anna is 12, Nicole is 31, and Smith is 24, so now we need to add these 2-digit numbers until we get a single-digit base number.
So for 12 it is 1+2=3, for 31 it is 3+1=4, and for 24 it is 2+4=6.
Step 5: Add Again!
You may need to repeat the addition process several times. For example, if a name equals 19 and you add 1 to 9, you get the two-digit number 10. So again, you have to do 1+0=1 to get the one-digit base number.
Once you have all the base numbers for your names, add them together, then add them again if necessary until you have the final, single-digit base number.
From our example we got 3, 4 and 6. So the equation would be 3+4+6=13. Since 13 is a double digit number, we need to add 1 to 3, so 1+3=4, which means Anna Nicole Smith’s lottery number is 4!
Step 5: What does it mean?!
Now that you have your destination number, let’s talk about what that means for you!
