Is this coin proof of the existence of parallel universes? Is it possible that it came to our world from the world where Germany won World War II and the Third Reich took over the planet? Or maybe it’s a glimpse into the future?
These questions arose when Diego Aviles found an extremely unusual coin at a construction site in Mexico. According to Diego, he was shocked when he looked at the image on the coin; a swastika was drawn there and the coin itself turned out to be a Reichsmark (the currency of the Third Reich).
But he was even more shocked when he looked at the engraved date “2039”.
While the leading digit of the date, the “2,” has been nearly erased, Diego insists it is there, and not the only one. His claim is made more credible by the fact that real Reichsmarks from that time looked clear.
Diego Aviles shared a video of his unusual discovery on YouTube in February 2018.
The coin is believed to be silver and quite worn, but a forgery can be made to make it look just as worn and antique. Distinguishing a real coin from a fake requires a thorough investigation, but it is not yet clear whether this has been carried out with this coin and whether it will be done in the future.
Furthermore, in addition to the swastika and the date, the coin also has inscriptions on both sides.
In addition, the coin features inscriptions on both sides in addition to the swastika and the date. On the side with the swastika and eagle is the inscription “Nueva Alemania” (“New Germany”).
This is a real but small village in Mexico, home to only five residents in 2010, originally founded by German immigrants in the 1920s.
However, in an alternative future it could have potentially grown into a major city. It is striking that the coin found does not resemble the typical Reichsmark issued in 1943.
On the reverse of the coin there is a curious inscription: “Alles in einer Nation” (“All in one nation”), which is different from the inscription found on the real German coin.
This is a very strange inscription that has not appeared on any German currency. So if this is a fake, then it’s a very strange one, not even trying to resemble the coins issued in the real Third Reich.
The most plausible explanation for the discovery of this coin at a Mexican construction site is that a German diplomat in the 1930s may have tried to convince Mexico to join their cause in the war.
Consequently, a unique collector’s coin could have been minted, reflecting the grand ambitions of the Third Reich. However, as history unfolded, Mexico sided with the Allies against Germany in 1942, causing these coins to be discarded and forgotten.
This is just a guess as there is no official answer as to where this coin came from.
