We are all psychic, but to varying degrees. Even psychic abilities face logical limitations; some people are just more sensitive, more sensitive in different ways, and more talented than others. Anyone can run, but some people run faster, longer, and with more grace than others. With training you can improve and maximize the psychic skills you have, just as you improve your speed, endurance and grace as a runner.
Sometimes psychic abilities remain dormant until a specific triggering moment, such as a near-death experience, or are discovered through concentrated efforts in meditation and mindfulness. There is also a wide range of talents, from simple intuition to channeling other entities to communicating with animals and so on.
This article discusses the psychic phenomenon and skill of clairaudience.
Clairaudience, what is that?
Clairaudience is the ability to hear spirit voices and convey messages to other people. A clairaudient individual can hear at a level beyond the everyday world and recognize spiritual voices other than their own or those of those around them.
As with any skill, there are different levels of skill and different circumstances for hearing and receiving messages. Sometimes the clairaudient hears only a few words, while others can engage in full conversations. Some information comes across as neutral, while other messages can be charged with the full range of emotions.
In a quite unique way essay published in 2016psychiatrists from Yale University invited clairaudient psychics to help them understand the dark side of clairaudience, schizophrenic psychosis. From the essay:
“We have known for some time that people in the general population can have the experience of hearing voices – sometimes frequently – without the need for psychiatric intervention,” said Albert Powers, a psychiatric researcher and lead author of the study.
The definitive difference between those identified as psychic and those who are schizophrenic is the fact that the voice-hearing psychic does not suffer from mental illness, which is a leap from the idea that hearing voices is a mental illness.
As the study author notes, “As many as one in 25 people hear voices at some point, and up to 40% report hearing a voice at some point in their lives. Most do not meet the criteria for mental illness. But finding healthy people who hear voices to study has been difficult.”
Why work with a clairaudient?
As past life regression, interlife living, and reincarnation increasingly appear in viable and rigorous scientific studies and in a number of excellent books published by PhDs and MDs, the idea is growing that some living individuals can consciously open and connect with the spirit of those people. those who have died but not yet returned to incarnate life become less fantastic.
Perhaps the best and most comprehensive work is by Michael Newton, PhD, who has written several books on all three topics, including Journey of Souls, Destiny of Souls, Memories of the Afterlife, and Life Between Lives. There’s also Return to Life by Jim B. Tucker, MD and Many Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss, MD, to name a few from physicians. There are also books by certified hypnotherapists.
Speaking to the temporarily dead
As the understanding of the reincarnation process continues to evolve through research and hypnotherapy, we have learned that it is possible for a clairaudient to invite or access someone’s mind who is between lives. If you want to work clairaudiently with someone and there is no connection, chances are the spirit has already reincarnated and you have to find him or her in life and talk to him or her the “old fashioned” way.
It was Newton who discovered through his past life regression work that a person would remember a past life in which he or she lived from, say, 1820 to 1871, and then move on from that life to the next one beginning in 1901. the mind was between lives. Sometimes the time in between is very short and sometimes much longer, depending on the circumstances of the death and the progress of the soul.
Speaking with other spirits and entities
Souls traveling in and out of human incarnation are not the only entities from whom messages are received and heard. Some clairaudient people have the ability to hear and translate messages from beings in other dimensions and other planes of existence who are able to tap into this three-dimensional plane. Think of it like the one-way mirror in a TV police drama. They can see us, but we can’t see them. However, a clairaudient person can hear them!
Clairaudience is an ability that falls under the general category of mediumship, which you can read about in another article published this month. The clairaudient is a medium or mediator for a spirit who wants to communicate with people in this incarnate existence and people who want to talk or interact with the spirit but are unable to do so.
Whether working with spirits traveling between lives or with spirits outside the human reincarnation stream, clairaudients can provide a useful service to those interested in exploring the connection between the spirit realm and the conscious. It is entirely possible for a clairaudient to be attuned to a specific entity or open to anyone willing to share a message.
Skills and abilities vary widely.
Who should you work with?
Whether you are zero (without any psychic ability, which is very rare) or weakly psychic, or you have the gift in abundance (and it does not cause or contribute to mental illness), then it is best to seek out practitioners who, when vetted thoroughly, will be able to show you their skills and professionalism.
Regardless of which service you are looking for, a mechanic or a clairaudient, it is always a wise policy to look at their business practice, testimonials and references (both from a study or an institution and their life CV). Talent can be revealed very early, but using talent wisely requires different life skills and maturity. If you have the ability and want to develop it, look for experienced practitioners who are also willing to teach.
There are high quality people in all professions and they all share the same qualities in the way they present themselves to the public and develop their success.
