The new UFO documentary God vs aliensexplores whether life as we know and perceive it is merely a simulation designed and controlled by aliens for an unknown purpose.
It’s called Simulation Theory and it suggests that life is in fact a kind of computer game. Swedish philosopher Nick Bostrom proposed this in 2003 and Elon Musk even believes in it – he says the odds of us actually living in a ‘real’ physical reality are a billion to 1!
This theory would then make religion and even the idea of God a construct of the computer game and therefore the aliens control it. This film explores this theory and its impact on the world’s religions if we were to first make contact, and especially if that contact would essentially negate our physical existence and any idea of God as real.
The film also features exclusive interviews with some of the world’s leading UFO experts, including Nick Pope, who formerly headed the UK UFO desk for the Ministry of Defense.
He explores whether aliens would bring their own religions with them and what would happen if they were really crazy about religions – would they impose them on us in a reverse colonialism?
Other interviewees include Professor Avi Loeb of Harvard University, Seth Shostak, the chief astronomer of SETI (Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence), who was also the scientific advisor on the popular Jodie Foster film Contact, Tony Topping, an alleged UFO abductee, and Rev. Daniel Thompson. who said: “First contact with ET will make people’s heads explode!”
The film examines evidence of past visits from the Bible and other ancient texts, as well as what role AI would play in the search for aliens and whether alien life would also use AI to contact ourselves.
Professor Avi Loeb argues that alien AI could form a kinship with human AI and bypass humanity entirely.
Highlights of the film include an interview with an alien abductee – Tony Topping – who claims to have been abducted by Aliens since childhood and states that there are many types of aliens and that: “The universe is populated and we are being lied to .”
Both Tony Topping and author Brian Allan claim that a secret organization called The Collins Elite is involved, working with the Aliens and helping to cover up the kidnapping phenomenon.
