Eclipses
Eclipses tend to bring blackouts, spikes, or both because they occur when a New or Full Moon aligns with the Moon’s nodes. Astronomically, the moon’s nodes are the two points in space where the moon’s orbit around Earth crosses the ecliptic (that is, the path the sun takes in the sky from the perspective of us Earthlings). There is a North Node and a South Node, and both have different astrological properties: the North Node represents increase and hunger, while the South Node represents liberation and letting go. To help you prepare for and reflect on these crucial moments, we’ve compiled a list of all the eclipses in 2024, along with their main themes.
